John Chapman. There’s no doubt that this is the best tablet money can buy. The problem being you’ll need a lot of money. For the price Microsoft should include the type cover and slim pen also, that would make the price more acceptable. I’ve had Surface Pros 3, 4 and 7. This one is faster and works well with Windows It replaced a Surface Pro 4 which developed a swollen battery.

Tip: Buy these from Amazon because Amazon will replace a faulty device but Microsoft won’t. How could it be improved? Put back the micro memory card slot so you can add extra storage. I bought this as I needed something portable and scalable that is windows based. Tablet is fully updated and ive ran various surface error checking software that shows no issues.

I’ve not had chance to check yet how little battery life id get at higher brightness doing something more intensive like using applications or watching movies but to say I’m disappointed would be an understatement and likely hood is I’ll be returning the unit if i cant find a way to improve it, having to recharge it every 4 hours of use or being tethered to a power supply during use is just not something I’m willing to do.

Really impressed. I’ve long been a fan of the Surface Pro range, but could never justify the high cost. However my Surface Go doesn’t support Windows 11, so I decided to sell it and put the money towards a Pro. You get what you pay for I guess. The screen size and resolution are great, and with the reduced bezel size it looks fantastic. The downside to this though is that it is really heavy, made worse by the lack of anywhere to grip without touching the screen – my Surface Go had thumb sized bezels, so it looked a little dated, but it was much easier to hold.

I’m sure its something I will get used to – I find it is much better if I change how I hold it, and cradle it in by left arm rather than holding it with just my fingers, I can use it in tablet mode much more comfortably.

In laptop mode it is much more able to replace a laptop than my Go was due to the much larger screen and keyboard. The performance so far is flawless. I haven’t tried playing games or editing video, or anything else particularly heavy duty, but with day to day tasks it doesn’t miss a beat. Overall, very very happy with it.
