Mr Parker is a founder shareholder and is Chairman of the Board or Directors. He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2003.
Prior to the start-up of Premium, Mr Parker held a number of senior management roles within the tobacco industry. His work experience covers Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and the United States.
Mr. Thomson is a founder shareholder and is President of the Board of Directors. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Group since 2018.
Prior to the startup of Premium Mr Thomson held various senior management positions in the leaf tobacco industry and since commencing his career in 1978, Mr Thomson’s direct work experience has seen him involved in South America, Europe, Africa, Central Asia, Middle East, Russia, and the Far East.
Mr. Mainetti currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of The Premium Group and is a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Mainetti previously served as Executive Vice-President of the Group and prior to this as Managing Director of Premium in Tanzania.
Prior to joining Premium in 2008, Mr. Mainetti held various senior management roles in the leaf tobacco and tobacco manufacturing sectors. He has over 34 years’ experience in the industry.
Mr. Morgan is a founder shareholder. He holds the position of chairman on the board audit and sustainability committees. He previously served as EVP – Corporate Strategy and as the Managing Director of Premium’s Asian businesses.
Prior to the start-up of Premium in 2002, Mr Morgan held senior management roles both within the tobacco industry and also as a professional in financial services and consultancy firms. His work experience covers Africa, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Brand is a founder shareholder of Premium Group and has served as Co-Managing Director of the Brazilian subsidiary since 2002, and has been its chairman since 2019.
Prior to the start of Premium, Mr. Brand was the Managing Director of a family owned leaf tobacco company in Brazil.
Mr. Muller is a founder shareholder of Premium Group and served as Co-Managing Director of the Brazilian subsidiary until 2019.
Mr. Muller worked in the Brazilian tobacco industry with other leaf dealers and then founded and managed his own tobacco company until the start of Premium’s operations in Brazil.
Mr. Hickman currently serves as the Executive Vice-President – Group Commercial Director. He is a member of the Board of Directors and heads up the global commercial team for the Premium Group.
Mr. Hickman previously served as Executive Vice-President – Sales with focus on Africa and Asia.
Prior to joining Premium in 2003 , Mr. Hickman held various senior management roles in the leaf tobacco industry. He has over 35 years’ experience in the industry.
Mr. Konzen serves as Chief Financial Officer of The Premium Group and has primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of the group, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. Mr. Konzen previously held the position of EVP – Director of Finance (Operations) and prior to that various finance roles in the Premium Group’s subsidiaries in Brazil, the UK and the UAE.
Prior to joining the Premium Group in 2004, Mr. Konzen worked in the banking industry in Brazil. Mr. Konzen is a member of the Accountants and Auditors Association of the UAE.
Mr. Hearn is the Group Legal Officer as well as Group Company Secretary and he manages the legal, compliance and company secretariat (corporate governance) activities for The Premium Group. Mr. Hearn is an admitted attorney and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Laws as well as a Master of Business Administration.
