• Full control of Tobacco Products International, a UAE cut rag business, was cemented.
• As a result of this, with the expansion and investment in valued added tobacco services and the biomass industry, the group was restructured to show this new diversified structure.
• The new holding company, The Premium Group, was established with three subsidiary operations:
  • The Premium Tobacco Group
  • Premium Tobacco Blends
  • Viridium
